Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®; NASDAQ: IDTI), the Analog and Digital Company™ delivering essential mixed-signal semiconductor solutions, today announced that it will be presenting and exhibiting industry-leading products at the 2012 Embedded World Exhibition and Conference from February 28 to March 1 in Nuremberg, Germany. IDT's products will be on display in booth A4302. IDT will deliver two presentations at Embedded World 2012. Michael S. McCorquodale, Ph.D., general manager of the Silicon Frequency Control group at IDT and senior member of the IEEE, will present, "CrystalFree Oscillators: Redefining Cost and Performance of Timing Devices." And Barry Wood, expert applications engineer at IDT and former chairperson of the Technical Working Group of the RapidIO® Trade Association, will present "RapidIO: Lowest Cost and Highest Performing Interconnect." IDT will demonstrate a variety of products from its timing, interconnect and power management portfolios. IDT's exhibit will feature its cutting-edge CrystalFree™ solid-state quartz-crystal oscillator (XO) and crystal replacement products. These innovative timing solutions provide customers a compelling alternative to quartz-based products and were recently named product of the year by Electronic Products magazine (3LG family). Other timing solutions include the new CrystalFree piezoelectric MEMS (pMEMS™)-based clock generators and products from the highly flexible VersaClock® III programmable clock series, as well as the industry's first integrated timing, thermal sensor and fan control solution (mobile access family). IDT's pMEMS technology was recently nominated as a 2012 UBM ACE award finalist in the Ultimate Products category. Online voting is open until February 24. IDT's timing devices will accompany products from the company's industry-leading portfolio of PCI Express® switches and signal integrity products. IDT's family of PCIe® Gen 3 switches builds upon its leadership in high-performance, scalable PCIe Gen 1 and Gen 2 switches to offer improved efficiency and reduced power consumption. These switches complement the industry's first signal-conditioning PCIe Gen 3 re-timers that improve system performance and reliability, and lower bill of materials costs by reducing overall design complexity. IDT will also demonstrate signal integrity repeaters, including those for PCIe Gen 2, USB 3.0 and 6 Gbps SATA. In addition, IDT will showcase the industry's most flexible microcontroller-based intelligent system power management solution (IDTP95020) targeted for portable applications alongside IDT's award-winning family of single-phase and poly-phase energy metering ICs for smart meters. The IDT 90E2x and 90E3x families offer the industry's widest dynamic range, allowing manufacturers to merge various types of meters into one - simplifying the design and manufacturing process for meter makers and reducing the storage and management complexity for utilities. To attend IDT's presentation on CrystalFree oscillators, visit stand 5-220 in Hall 5, 13:30-14:00 on Thursday, March 1. The RapidIO presentation will occur during session 15 of the conference, 11:00-11:30 on Thursday, March 1.
