TE Connectivity to present at advanced aircraft cabling conference in Germany this week

Nina Przbylska, Development Engineer, and Mark Taylor, Product Manager, both of TE Connectivity's (TE) Global Aerospace, Defense & Marine business unit, will present at International Conference Aircraft Cabling in Hamburg, Germany, July 8-10, 2014.

The International Conference Aircraft Cabling, organized by the IQPC Worldwide Pte. Limited, is a technical event for experts in the aircraft industry focused on designing, manufacturing, improving and maintaining aircraft wire harness and cables harness architecture. The conference will cover areas like multi-functional and high-performance aircraft cables and how to integrate them into your aircraft wire architecture, how to prevent wire aging and cable failure, and how to apply the latest approaches and strategies for toward aircraft wire repair and maintenance.

As part of the conference, Przbylska will discuss alternative strategies for balancing high and low frequency shielding as well as combining new materials and technologies in her presentation, “Meeting Weight Reduction Targets with Lightweight Harness Shielding.”

In addition, Taylor will join Przbylska to present an interactive workshop that will focus on efficient and reliable repair solutions for in-service aircraft wire and cable harnesses. The workshop will discuss innovative aircraft cable repair solutions that reduce aircraft downtime.
