RALEIGH, NC -- Stackpole Electronics, Inc. announces the release of the RPC-UP ultra high power pulse withstanding chip resistors. The RPC-UP is available in a 0.5 watt rated 0805 size and a 0.75 watt 1206 size chip.
The RPC-UP maintains the same excellent pulse handling the RPC series is known for, but greatly improves the power handling allowing its use in a wide variety of applications with pulse handling requirements which would normally require a larger chip. This series offers tolerances as low as 0.5% and TCR of 200 ppm and 100 ppm depending on resistance value. The RPC-UP adds to the RPC-HP high power pulse withstanding series which offers high power handling for sizes from 0603 through 2010.
RPC-UP pricing ranges from $0.021 to $0.084 each in full package quantities.
