STMicroelectronics Announces Industry's First TV System on Chip to Complete Irdeto Security Certification

This certification means a TV using the Freeman product has the level of security required to access premium content protected by the Irdeto Conditional Access System (CAS) without the need for an external device or conditional access module. Irdeto CAS support is part of the security capabilities of Freeman product family that also offers robust and hardened implementation of mainstream DRMs and CI+ features.
