    10 Watt DC/DC Converter in Ultra-Compact DIP-16 Package

    06/28/2019

San Jose, Calif. - TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TEL10 series of 10 watt DC/DC converters in the DIP-16 package measuring 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.31", the series sets the new standard for 10 watt power density with 3.83 W/cm3. Approved to UL62368-1 & UL60950, the TEL10 are economical solutions for space critical and cost sensitive applications in instrumentation, IT and industrial electronics.

The TEL10 features a 2:1 input ranging from 9-18 / 18-36 / 36-75 Vin and 14 single & dual output models of 3.3, 5.1, 12, 15, 24, ±12 and ±15 VDC. High efficiency up to 88% enables a full-load operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (3.3 & 5 Vout to 78°C Max). These high-density DC/DC converters are enclosed in a 6-sided shielded metal case with an insulated base plate, an internal filter to meet EN 55032 class A conducted emissions or class B with external components and short circuit / overload protection circuits. All models are safety qualified to UL60950-1 and UL 62368-1 and supported by TRACO POWER's 3 year warranty.

Products are in stock and available through the TRACO POWER global distribution network with manufacturing lead times of 12-14 weeks. Please see www.tracopower.us/tel10  for specifications, drawings and safety documentation.
