Bias Power's latest AC-DC LED Driver Module is the BPOXL Series; specifically designed for the many applications operating from a 12VAC input. These low-cost supplies provide up to four or eight watts of output power for LED string voltages up to 12VDC and 9VDC respectively. The Bias design utilizes the company's unique technology and expertise to achieve a miniature package size of only 2.34 in3. Bias Power's BPOXL 4 watt LED drivers offer 350mA constant current operation with the 8 watt modules rated at 700mA. Based on Bias' patented* circuit designs, the drivers provide a high level of performance. Output characteristics are fully maintained over a 10.8 - 16.2 VAC (50/60Hz) input range. The compact 1.90" x 1.31" (1.74" w/mounting slots) x 0.94" size gives designers more flexibility than typical rectangular units. Standard connections are via 11 inch, 18AWG color -coded "flying leads." Combined with dual-mounting slots, installation is simple and straightforward. The modules meet the IP67 rating for ingress protection and easily satisfy the strict requirements for outdoor architectural and building applications as well as other low-voltage lighting products. All modules are specified for full-rated power over the temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The nominal 80% efficiency is among the highest lumens/watt, end-to-end efficacy ratings for AC-to-DC LED solutions available today. Both models are over-current, short-circuit and overload protected. The modules comply with UL/CSA and EN Product Safety Requirements (UL8750 Class 2) and meet conducted EMI emissions EN 55022, Class B and FCC Part 15, Class B.
