CUI Inc, a Bel group company, announced the addition of a new series of medical desktop ac-dc power supplies to its external ac-dc power supply line. The SDM24-UD Series is available in four models and in black or white color options. The series features up to 27 W of continuous power and no-load power consumption of less than 0.1 W, with a two-prong (C8) inlet. The series is certified to the medical 60601-1 safety standard, meeting the requirements for a 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) classification.
These external supplies provide a compact solution for a variety of medical and dental applications, including blood pressure monitors, portable ultrasound units, sleep monitors and CPAP machines. These adapters are also suitable for use in home-healthcare applications such as at-home heartbeat monitors and examination kits.
