2mm MIL-DTL-83513G DMM connectors with 360° EMC backshells

    06/13/2019
Nicomatic’s range of DMM Micro D mixed signal connectors have single or two-piece backshells for 360° shielding and protection of interconnects.

More, the devices are available on a six-to-eight week leadtime, significantly better than the industry standard 16-20 weeks.

Nicomatic’s highly-reliable DMM connectors comply with MIL-DTL-83513G specifications yet save space when compared to other Micro D connectors and enable a wide choice of configuration. The modular construction facilitates up to 10 million combinations of signal (LF), power (HP) and coax (HF) to be selected. Based on a 2mm pitch, the DMM family includes board-to-board, board-to-wire and panel mount (1-4 contact rows). Maintenance is simple, since contacts can be removed.

Commented Alexis de Lassat, product manager: “Designers can specify Nicomatic’s DMM 2mm connector system knowing they will get exactly what they need on a short lead time with low MOQ. The backshell option improves signal protection, and devices can be used with a flange for increased shielding continuity when mounting on a panel.”

DMM MIL-DTL-83513G Micro D connectors are fabricated in rugged 6061 aluminium alloy.
