    3W Current Sense Chip Resistor with Improved TCR to 50

    Current sensing resistors that operate at high power can experience significant self-heating. This self-heating can cause error in measurement if the sense resistor has high TCR. Stackpole's CSM2512 current sense resistor offers a metal element with TCR now improved to 50 ppm. This ensures high accuracy measurement at 3W for resistance values from 0.001 to 0.1 milliohm. In addition, the AEC-Q200 and RoHS compliant (exemption-free) CSM2512 has a molded package and is capable of full power operation for terminal temperatures up to 120 degrees C.

    The low TCR and higher relative resistance value of the CSM is a good choice for power supplies for currents up to 54.8A, industrial power control, consumer electronics, telecom, computer, measurement equipment, battery management, and LED drivers.
