500W Stereo Gallium Nitride Streaming Hi-Fi Audio Amplifier

    08/16/2021

Just add speakers! The Starkrimson Streamer Ultra combines a DAC, streamer, and amplifier all inside an easy-to-use enclosure that will blend into any décor.

The Starkrimson Streamer Ultra represents a new kind of high-end audio system that offers commanding performance in a discreet package. It can perform the same functions that once required a rack full of components, and in many ways is superior.

This latest design combines the company’s highly reviewed and award-winning PecanPi DAC and Starkrimson Ultra amplifiers, fully exploring the benefits of the latest GaN transistors, such as size and weight reduction and increased power, efficiency, and sound quality, from GaN Systems. The design provides less harshness, cleaner highs, and better overall transparency and detail with inconsequential noise levels.

Starkrimson Streamer Ultra is available with either Volumio or Roon end-point software installed.

    Features:

    • Controlled with any smartphone, tablet, or PC
    • Fully balanced output
    • Extremely low noise and distortion
    • Ultra-low jitter
    • Native playback up to 24Bit/192K
    • 2-ohm capable

Starkrimson Streamer Ultra is available with either black or brushed aluminum faceplates, an optional USB port (Volumio only), and upgraded power rail capacitance.

MSRP is $3,499.95 for the base model. Orchard Audio is offering preorder prices where the first 10 customers will save $1,000; the next 10 will save $750; and all other preorder customers will save $500. Units are scheduled to begin shipping in late November 2021.
