    TDK Corporation announces the introduction of the TDK-Lambda brand PH600A280‑24 DC-DC converter.

    600W half brick DC-DC converter certified to EN 62477-1

    This extends the PH-A280 series of 200 to 425Vdc input power modules from 50 to 600W. The new 24V output model is designed for data communications, power transmission and renewable energy applications utilising a 380V HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) input.

    The PH600A280-24 model is rated at 24V 25A and has a wide 14.4 to 28.8V adjustment range to accommodate non-standard voltages. Packaged in the industry standard half-brick package (61.0 x 12.7 x 57.9mm), it has an efficiency of 93% and can operate at full load with -40°C to +85°C baseplate temperatures, derating linearly to 80% load at +100°C. The converters can be conduction cooled making them suitable for use in sealed outdoor enclosures or liquid cooled applications.

    All PH-A280 modules have a five-year warranty, remote on-off and over-current and over-voltage protection. The series is fully isolated with an input to output isolation of 3,000Vac and is safety certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 with CE marking for the Low Voltage and RoHS Directives. Additionally the PH600A280-24 model is certified to EN 62477-1 (Over Voltage Category III) for fixed installations with a permanent connection to a distribution panel.
