    ALPS Offers TDGS Series of Compact FM/AM Tuner Modules for Automotive Applications

    ALPS ELECTRIC EUROPE GmbH offers with the TDGA6 family a series of high-sensitive FM/AM tuner modules for automotive applications. The surface mountable modules have dimensions of 25.0mm x 20.0mm x 3.5mm (W x D x H). They cover input frequency ranges on the AM band from 522kHz to 1710kHz and on the FM band from 76MHz to 108MHz. For reception of U.S. weather forecasts, the tuner modules support FM frequencies from 162.4MHz to 162.55MHz (Weather-Band-Range - WX). The tuners are rated for supply voltages of 5.0V; their typical power consumption is 225mA. Further specifications include an audio output level of 150mVms and an antenna impedance (unbalanced) of 75? (FM) or 1 M? (AM). The TDGS modules are available in minimum packing units of 500 pieces.
