Amphenol SurLok Plus environmentally sealed compression lugs

Amphenol SurLok Plus environmentally sealed compression lug family is now available in Europe from TTI, a leading specialist distributor of electronic components. SurLok Plus is a field-installable, highly-reliable alternative to common compression lugs and is an IP-67 rated version of Amphenol’s successful original SurLok range. Incorporating the latest R4 RADSOCK Technology, Amphenol SurLok Plus compression lugs have a quick lock and press-to-release design and are compact, quick-mating and robust.

Further benefits of SurLok Plus compression lugs are their “Keyway” design which prevents incorrect mating and 360 degree rotating plugs. Additionally, they feature R4 RADSOK high amperage contact technology which utilises the high tensile strength properties of a stamped and formed, high-conductivity alloy grid to produce low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area.

Available in contact sizes 5.7mm (120A – 180A), 8.0mm (200A – 300A) and 10.3mm (300A – 400A), plugs are either right angle or straight and receptacles with or without keyway. SurLok Plus uses industry-standard crimp, screw and busbar termination options, so there is no need to purchase special torque tools.

Operating voltage is 1,000V AC/DC and operating temperature range is -40degC to +125degC. The SurLok Plus series is touch proof, and flammability rated to UL 94-V0. Markets and applications for the SurLok Plus series include EV/HEVs, BMS/Energy Storage, medical, rail mass transit, process control/automation and heavy equipment.
