Anderson Power Products' expanded mid-power SPEC Pak connector family offers first mate, last break ground contact
Anderson Power Products is pleased to announce an expansion of the Mid Power SPEC Pak® connector family. The product is now available with a first mate, last break ground contact capable of accepting 6 to 10 awg (13.3 mm² to 5.3 mm²) wire making the Mid Power SPEC Pak suitable for 3 phase, 4 wire configurations up to 600 VAC and 80 amps.
Mid Power SPEC Pak is highly adaptable, allowing the user to customize the connector to meet unique design requirements. The connector can be configured with up to four (4) color coded, 6 to 10 awg power or ground contacts and up to eight (8), 12 – 24 awg auxiliary contacts which can be used for remote sensing or communication applications such as AS-I, CAN, Ethernet, Profibus and others.
Mid Power SPEC Pak, like the other connectors in the SPEC Pak family, is environmentally sealed to IP68, exceeding the IP67 industry standard. This rugged, compact connector is UV, chemical and flame resistant.
