Spring-Loaded Mechanisms Lock Antaira Switches and Routers into Place
Antaira DIN-Rail clips upgrade standard clips on most Antaira switches and routers for added stability in high vibration industrial environments

Antaira DIN-Rail Clips Prevent Damage to Network Devices in High Vibration Environments

    01/10/2025

With the introduction of a new patented DIN-Rail clip, Antaira Technologies has reimagined traditional mount designs, resulting in a more secure attachment for its Ethernet switches and routers onto any 35mm metal rail.

Available now, the DIN-Rail clips replace the standard clips that come with most Antaira devices. Once installed, the clip's coil spring-loaded latch enables easy snap-on attachment of the Antaira device to a rail, plus allows it to be removed rail just by lifting and releasing the clasp.

The new clips not only make it hassle-free to mount and remove Antaira switches and routers but also significantly improve the security of connections to the rail. Stability is critical in environments that expose network devices to the stresses of prolonged or extreme vibrations, such as those experienced in off-road vehicles, mining operations, and on factory floors when a device is located nearby pumps, motor drives, conveyors or other heavy machinery. If severe enough, vibration can knock a network device out of service and halt plant production.

Antaira offers two convenient packages to upgrade existing DIN-Rail clips: the DIN-RAIL-KIT-2, an ultra-secure solution that fits all LNX, LMX, LNP, and LMP switch families, and the tool-free "press-and-click" DIN-RAIL-KIT-3. Both are constructed of rugged stainless-steel and ship with the necessary hardware for attaching to Antaira switches and routers.
