    Astute Electromech to exhibit at DVD 2014

    Astute Electronics, a leading supplier of electronic components and value added services for the global market, will debut its new ElectroMechanical division at DVD2014, a key Defence event for those involved in equipping and supporting the UK’s Land Forces which takes place on June 25th and 26th at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire MK45 2JH.

    Astute Electronics will be displaying products from its range of leading manufacturers and will also launch a new partnership with Fischer Connectors. Fischer’s industry-leading products feature innovative contact technology and are rugged yet space saving with high environmental ratings.

    Other highlights from Astute Electronics’ electromechanical portfolio on display at DVD include:
    -Amphenol - Rhino the chosen power connector for many of today’s leading global vehicle programs uses RADSOK contact technology rated for up to 750V with low contact resistance. Black Zinc Nickel finish provides full ROHS compliance.
    -Airborn - High speed (20gbps+) connectors including VerSi and Micro Si series devices for rugged applications such as vehicle displays.
    -Delphi - New NGCON and stackable NGCON connectors plus the fibre optic range synonymous with Delphi.
    -Quell – unique EESEAL technology that addresses EMC issues both at the design stage and during final test. Suppression is contained within the seal itself reducing size, and delivery is under seven days from concept, slashing TTM.
