AVX High-Energy Density Supercaps in Stock at TTI

    02/12/2019

Fort Worth, Texas – TTI, Inc. has stock for immediate shipment of multiple values of the high-density SCC and SCM series of supercaps, including the latest 3.0V version.  Rated from 2.7V to 48V and delivering high capacitance values (1F – 3,000F), low ESR (0.16mΩ – 200mΩ at 1,000KHz), low leakage (6µA – 5,800µA), high energy density (1.2 to 5.6Wh/kg), and long lifetime performance (50,000+ cycles), the new SCC and SCM series supercapacitors exhibit excellent pulse power handling characteristics.

Used by themselves or in conjunction with primary or secondary batteries, supercaps provide extended back up time, longer battery life, and provide instantaneous power pulses as needed. They offer great solutions to Hold Up, Energy Harvesting, and Pulse Power Applications.  Supercapacitors or Electric Double Layer Capacitors (EDLC) rapidly have become recognized, not only as an excellent compromise between capacitors and batteries but also as a valuable technology for providing a unique combination of characteristics, particularly very high pulse power and capacitance densities.
