    10/07/2013

AVX, a leading manufacturer of passive components and interconnect solutions, has received Delphi Automotive's 2012 Above & Beyond Award. One of Delphi's Pinnacle for Supplier Excellence Family of Awards, the Above & Beyond Award recognizes suppliers for providing exceptional service to the company with regard to innovation, protection, quality, service, and/or value in 2012. "One of our core values is to not only meet, but to exceed the expectations of our customers," said AVX Vice President of Sales, Pete Venuto. "As part of this ultimate commitment, we pride ourselves on consistently exceeding the product, quality, and technology curve no matter what the challenge, and are consequently extremely pleased to have been recognized by Delphi with this award." Currently celebrating seven years, the Above & Beyond Award recognizes a select few suppliers for special service events that went beyond contractual obligations in the past year. "Suppliers contribute to Delphi's growth and success in so many ways - in collaborative efforts to eliminate waste, in cooperative projects to improve productivity, and in innovative methods to improve speed to market," said Sidney Johnson, Senior Vice President, Global Supply Management. "Congratulations to the team at AVX." Delphi recognized 19 suppliers from 11 countries with its 2012 Above & Beyond Award. AVX
