    03/28/2014

AVX, a leading manufacturer of advanced passive components and interconnect solutions, is exhibiting at Energy Harvesting & Storage Europe in Berlin, Germany on April 1 - 2. This annual conference and tradeshow event focuses on the latest developments in energy harvesting technologies for applications in building and industrial automation, consumer electronics and the automotive industry among many others. Aimed at a global audience of manufacturers, end users, systems integrators and academics, Energy Harvesting & Storage Europe is expected to attract over 1600 executives from more than 35 countries.

On Booth A-14, AVX representatives will demonstrate and discuss the company’s extensive portfolio of specialty and advanced products, including high power ceramic and low ESR tantalum capacitors, connectors, thick and thin film capacitors, filters, circuit protection products, RF microwave capacitors, KDP oscillators and resonators, varistors and integrated passive components.

AVX’s energy harvesting solutions include BestCap® capacitors, which can store several hundred times more energy by weight and volume than conventional aluminium electrolytic capacitors and deliver it more than ten times faster. The low profile of BestCap devices is optimized for high-performance and battery-powered applications and can also be used in hybrid battery packs to reduce peak power demand and extend battery life.
