    Bourns Expands Industry-Leading Modular Contacts Portfolio with Five, Six and Eight Amp Products

    ­Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced that it has expanded its modular contacts portfolio with new five, six and eight amp products. The unique, advanced design of Bourns® 75ABF, 75ABM, 76AAF, 76AAM, 78ADF and 78ADM Modular Contacts gives designers additional higher amperage and power-dense choices. They also are tested for 50,000-cycle operation and can be stacked side-by-side to enable greater design flexibility.

    Designers can realize multiple benefits from employing these latest higher-amp modular contacts, including enhanced power delivery for demanding application tasks, the ability to quickly charge batteries and to provide the capability for efficient energy transfer that reduces voltage drop over short distances. In addition, Bourns® new five, six and eight amp Modular Contacts deliver the scalability to support multiple subsystems.
