Bourns® Model TFOS30-1-150 Thick Film on Steel

Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today introduced its Thick Film on Steel (TFOS) product line that features advanced capabilities designed to support high energy applications. Bourns® Model TFOS30-1-150 is the first in the new line. This AEC-Q200 compliant product offers an exceptional power rating and extended temperature range, making it an excellent pre-charge or discharge solution for power and solar converters, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), industrial power supplies, motor drives, dynamic braking systems, heaters, elevators and a variety of consumer electronics that require an enhanced level of performance.

Thick film printing is, and has been, one of Bourns’ core competencies for more than 50 years. And, although this printing technology is commonly used on ceramic, printing on stainless steel expands its usage in a variety of demanding and power-intensive applications while taking advantage of the high power/energy properties of the stainless-steel substrate. In addition, Bourns engineers can match application-specific modification needs with full customization support.

The Bourns® Thick Film on Steel Model TFOS30-1-150 is available now through Bourns’ authorized distribution partners, and is RoHS compliant. For more detailed product information, please go here
