    Call for papers now open for PCIM Europe 2015

    Papers on power electronics and their applications are welcomed at the Call for Papers for the PCIM Europe 2015 Conference, which is now open. The submission deadline is 15 October 2014.

    PCIM Europe is one of the most leading events combining a user-oriented international conference and exhibition in the field of power electronics. The conference topics covered include recent developments in power semiconductors, passive components, thermal management products, energy storage, sensors and new materials as well as systems. Proposals are invited for oral or poster presentations at the conference. The conference language is English.

    The accepted papers will be included in the official PCIM proceedings as well as in the scientific databases of Scopus, IEEExplore, Compendex and IET Inspec Direct.

    Best Paper and Young Engineer Award
    From all submissions the conference directors honour one Best Paper Award and three Young Engineer Award winners. The winner of the Best Paper Award will receive 1,000 Euros and the chance to participate at the PCIM Asia 2016 Conference in Shanghai, including flights and accommodation. The three Young Engineer Awards, worth 1,000 Euro each, will be granted to outstanding contributions from young authors not older than 35. The prizes will be awarded at the PCIM Europe 2015 Conference Opening Ceremony on 19 May 2015 in Nuremberg.
