CISSOID announces new High Temperature Automotive IC’s

    06/13/2019
CISSOID’s new automotive IC’s are part of the company’s CXT series of automotive-grade components rated and qualified for operation from -55°C up to 175°C.

The components are also in excess of AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualification standard.

CISSOID is introducing the CXT-STA4919, a new high-temperature, high-reliability, 50mA adjustable linear voltage regulator generating any regulated voltage in the range +3.3V to +28V from an input between +4.5V to +35V. The component is operating reliably at junction temperatures from -55°C to +175°C. It is self-protected with a built-in current limiter and a thermal protection. The regulator is available in a PSOIC8 package with exposed pad for small PCB footprint and low thermal resistance.

“This product offers a low cost, small footprint and reliable solution for compact voltage regulators in ECU’s, motor drives modules and sensor interfaces located in harsh automotive thermal environments where thermal requirements are difficult to meet” says Pierre Delatte, CISSOID CTO. “We see also demand in high power density converters and SiC gate drivers in EV and HEV” he added. The CXT-STA4919 is priced at 0.29€ in volume production.

The company is also introducing new automotive configurable logic gates, referenced as CXT-741GXX, rated from -55°C to +175°C and available in a small SOT-23-6 package. These configurable integrated products enable 13 logic functions including Inverter, Buffer, AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR, MUX and D Flip-Flop. These new low power CMOS devices have a supply voltage range from 1.65V to 5.5V. Inputs feature Schmitt triggers for high immunity to slow changing signals and can be driven with signals above the supply voltage. CXT-741GXX are priced at 0.065€ in volume production.
