Compact 15 and 30 Watt Open-Frame Power Supplies Designed for Medical Applications

    08/18/2017
The new TPP 15 and TPP 30 series extend the range of TRACO POWER AC/DC power supplies for medical applications

These 15 and 30 Watt AC/DC power supplies feature a reinforced double I/O isolation system according to latest medical safety standards IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2 x MOPP approved for an operating altitude of 5000 m. The earth leakage current is below 100 μA what makes the units suitable for BF (body floating) applications. The excellent efficiency of up to 91.5% offers a high power density in the packaging format 1.0” x 2.6” (15 Watt) and 1.36” x 3.34" (30 Watt). The full load operating temperature range covers –40°C to +60°C while it goes up to 85°C with 50% load derating. The units operate in compliance to the medical EMC emission and immunity levels according to latest standard IEC 60601-1-2 4th edition. All TRACO POWER products in our category "Medical" are assigned to the procedure of ISO 14971 – "Application of risk management to medical devices". The quality management for design and production is certified to ISO 13485 while production quality is controlled according to the acceptance criteria of IPC-A-610 class 3.
