    Conrad Electronics introduces high-quality
Voltcraft digital multimeter

    12/21/2017
Rated to CATIII 600V, robust VC155 aimed at professionals and hobbyists

Conrad Electronic announced availability in North America of the Voltcraft VC155, a new digital multimeter that offers key capabilities for both professional and hobbyist users at a highly affordable price. Voltcraft is a leading manufacturer of high-quality test and measurement equipment, power supplies and charging technology. The brand represents high-quality test and measurement technology available at a low cost.

Already sold in Europe, the VC155 digital multimeter is ideal for measuring and displaying electrical parameters up to a maximum of 600V. The unit’s DC voltage measurement range is from 0.1mV up to 600V; and the AC range is from 0.1V up to 600V. The VC155 also measures DC current with a measurement range from 0.1A up to 10A; and resistance up to 10M for DC and up to 4.5M for AC. Offering basic accuracy of 0.5% and 2000 display counts, the device also offers acoustic continuity check, hold function, diode test, non-contact 230V AC voltage test, and temperature measurement via a K-type thermo-sensor.

Rated to CATIII600V, the device’s two measuring inputs are secured against overload and are equipped with ceramic high-performance fuses. Other features include low-battery-voltage indicator, LED flashlight function and digital display backlight. The unit also comes with a bracket, enabling users to have both hands free to make electrical measurements.

Enclosed in a soft-rubber housing for protection, the VC155 is powered via a standard 9V battery and comes with test leads. Voltcraft also provides a three-year warranty and customer support.
