    09/29/2015

TE Connectivity, a leader in connectivity, announces the launch of its new high current Corcom 3-phase filter. The new APH and APS series offer the alternative energy inverter and motor drive industries filters that combine high current with compact size, light weight and rugged terminations.

“Weight and space-saving concerns continue to be major drivers in nearly every industry,” said Tony Northcott, Global Product Manager, TE Connectivity Intelligent Buildings. “TE’s new Corcom filters were designed to meet the performance needs of high current delta 3-phase applications, while offering equipment manufacturers flexibility in mounting options and installation configurations.”

The APH and APS Series offer models from 250 to 1600 amps with corrosion resistant busbar terminations for harsh environments. The APH and APS Series are also available without line-to-ground capacitors to work with a variety of inverter system configurations.
