    Coto Technology shows off their MEMS-based reed switch, world's smallest (PSDtv)

    In this episode of PSDtv Steve Day of Coto Technology talks with Alix Paultre of Power Systems Design about their latest development, a 0.94 mm-high MEMS-based reed switch with a footprint of 1.01 x 2.08 mm. Features include a closure sensitivity range from 5 to 25 millitesla, permitting operation up to 20mm using a small NdFeB magnet, and a release sensitivity greater than 15 millitesla.
