CUI Inc has announced an ultra-compact 5 W wall plug adapter with integrated USB connector, the EPSA050100U-I38-EJ. With a footprint of just 41 x 30 mm (1.61 x 1.18 inches), the adapter is among the industry's smallest ac-dc power supplies to integrate USB. The small form factor makes it ideally suited for a wide range of consumer applications, including media players, e-readers, GPS, and other mobile devices. The EPSA050100U-I38-EJ has Level V energy-efficiency compliance for green design requirements and is equipped with a no-load power draw of less than 0.1 W. Rated with an output of 5 Vdc at 1 A, the high density EPSA050100U-I38-EJ operates at ac input voltages ranging from 90~264 Vac. Safety marks include UL/cUL, PSE, and LPS (limited power source).
