Current Sense Chips Offer Tolerances as Tight as 0.5%

    12/13/2018

RALEIGH, NC – Stackpole’s ultra precision current sensing chip resistors, the CSS Series, offers precision tolerances as tight as 0.5% and TCR as low as 15 ppm. Recently, Stackpole extended the value range for the 0603 size adding a 4 milliohm value and the 0805 size adding a 3 milliohm value. Lower resistance values allow the CSS to sense higher currents more efficiently which is critical to many consumer electronics applications and portable power tools.

Pricing for the CSS0603 and 0805 depends on size, value, and tolerance and ranges from $0.19 to $0.35 each in full package quantities. Contact Stackpole for volume pricing.
