Customer Survey Proves Digi-Key is #1 in Multiple Categories

    03/15/2011

Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry's broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment, recently achieved #1 ranking in eight categories of the 2010 Bishop & Associates U.S. Customer Survey of the Electronic Distribution Industry. Bishop & Associates' 2010 survey consisted of a detailed questionnaire, asking customers to provide their opinions about 37 different distributors. For each category, 24 companies received sufficient enough evaluations to remain in the final report. The survey was submitted to people employed in the engineering field and to purchasers of electronic components. Digi-Key was voted #1 in the following categories: Best On-Time Delivery, Best in Product Breadth, Best On-Hand Inventory, Best Ease of Doing Business, Best Overall Website, Best Ease of Finding Products on Website, Best Technical Documentation on Website, and the Best in Placing Orders on Website. "Digi-Key appreciates the recognition we have received by achieving such a high ranking with our clientele. We want our customers to rely on our ability to provide the largest breadth of product and the fastest and most efficient shipping possible—the Bishop Survey clearly validates the strength of Digi-Key's business model and consistently strong performance by the Digi-Key 'team' in serving our customers," said Mark Larson, president and COO of Digi-Key Corporation. www.digikey.com
