Daily Telegraph Lists Powerstax as one of Britain's Brightest Businesses

    12/13/2011

Powerstax, one of Europe's leading value-added power solutions manufacturers, features in the Daily Telegraph's just published list of 1000 of Britain's Brightest Businesses. According to the newspaper "The list is a celebration of the 1,000 mid-sized companies which have weathered the economic storm and are set to be the foundation of the UK's recovery". The list identifies 1,000 Private and Alternative Investment Market-listed companies, from farming to IT firms; restaurants and retailers; to construction groups and professional services. The snapshot focuses on companies and partnerships with sales of between £5m and £500m. Many are growing quickly, others are doing so more slowly, often sustained over many years. It means young gazelles sit alongside long-established companies that have found new ways to grow. The research was compiled with the help of NESTA, the innovation agency, which identified fast growing companies, and business information specialist Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), which verified the information. Tim Worley, CEO of Powerstax comments; "We are proud to have been included in the Daily Telegraph's list. It's rewarding to have our investments in UK design and international sales come to the attention of NESTA and the mainstream media. There is no doubt the market is very tough and our success is down to a great deal of hard work, really understanding our customer's needs and working in close partnership with them to deliver high-efficiency power conversion systems on budget and on time." Powerstax can supply an extensive range of standard, value-added and custom AC & DC power solutions for a broad range of fixed and mobile applications including hot swap front end AC-DC bulk power, DC-DC converter bricks and modules and programmable, modular rack mounted Power Supplies, for use in Industrial, Medical, Defence, Transportation, Avionics, Telecoms, Datacoms, IT, Test, Measurement and Control, Medical equipment and all commercial markets.
