DC-AC Inverters Deliver 800VA Pure Sine Wave Output Voltage

    06/21/2019

ABSOPULSE Electronics’ CTPH 800-F7W series of high input voltage DC-AC inverters deliver up to 800VA 3-phase pure sine wave output voltage.

The inverters operate from a 700Vdc nominal input, 500-900Vdc operating range, 1100Vdc peak, with a maximum start-up current of 2A.  The 800VA units deliver a 3-phase sine wave output of 208Vrms continuous at 60Hz or 400Hz, 400Vrms continuous at 50Hz, or custom.

The CTPH 800-F7W inverters are suitable for applications that require a high input voltage, three-phase solution with low start-up current including material handling equipment, testing 3-phase equipment in engineering labs, testing avionic instrumentation and other equipment.

Heavy filtering on the input and output contribute to low noise. This ensures that the inverters can be used in EMI sensitive environments without additional filtering. The input meets EN55032 Class A with wide margins; Class B is available on request. Protection features include 5000Vdc input to output isolation, inrush current limiting, reverse polarity protection, and output current limiting with short-circuit protection.

High frequency conversion enables high efficiency, compact construction (280 x 67 x 356 mm) and low weight (4 kg).High quality built-in fans and additional conduction via the baseplate provide sufficient cooling to ensure 800VA continuous output over a 0°C to +50°C operating temperature range without de-rating. Wider temperature ranges are also available. The inverters are heavily ruggedized for immunity to high levels of shock and vibration (IEC 61373 Cat 1 A&B). The printed circuit boards are conformal coated for protection from humidity and airborne contaminants.
