DC Inrush Current Limiter for Flexible System Integration

    12/20/2022

The new BE-DCEB10A from Bicker Elektronik, Donauwoerth/Germany, reliably protects against high currents that occur when capacitive DC loads are switched on and can damage the power supply or trigger fuse elements. With input voltages of 10 to 30VDC, the compact PCB module limits the inrush current to approx. 12A during the inrush torque. The maximum load current in rated operation is 10A. The BE-DCEB10A can thus significantly increase the functional safety and system availability of the application. Additional safety is provided by integrated overcurrent and short-circuit protection.

Equipped with practical screw terminals and mounting holes, the high-quality FR4 board with a footprint of only 63.9 x 40.3 mm can be flexibly integrated and connected in a variety of applications in a space-saving manner. In addition to the long-term availability of at least 5 years, Bicker Elektronik grants a warranty of 3 years on the BE-DCEB10A.
