Dean Technology Inc. (DTI), a world leading manufacturer of high voltage components, rectifiers, and assemblies, is excited to announce two new additions to their medium power high voltage diode line, the new FH Series and SH Series of diodes.
The FH series and SH series were conceptualized and designed based on specific needs from many customers. Using the technology of the legacy 2CL series diode line, these new series offer higher current and significantly faster reverse recovery time, making them ideal for applications with critical performance requirements such as X-ray equipment (medical, dental, industrial, and security), induction heating, and high voltage power supplies.
SH series models are standard recovery, but the FH series offers a reverse recovery time (TRR) of 40ns maximum, significantly faster than its 2CL predecessor (100ns). The SH series units offer a maximum repetitive reverse voltage range (VRRM) from 8 to 15kV at 200 to 350mA of average forward current (IFAVM). The FH series is a bit more expansive with more models, offering a VRRM range of 2 to 30kV at an IFAVM range of 100 to 700mA.
“DTI continues to innovate and provide excellent customer support with the creation of the FH series and SH series of high voltage diodes using our existing technology” said Pedro Gonzalez, Technical Product Manager for the HVCA brand of products at DTI.
“Our 2CL line is a long-used legacy product for a reason, and we are happy to be able to use that backbone to create two new and needed solutions for our customers. Customer service will always be the priority at DTI.”
