Economical chip resistors offer values up to 10G Ohms

    03/22/2013

The HMC Series from Stackpole is a thick film based chip resistor series capable of high resistance values. This series utilizes special high resistance inks and volume production to achieve a chip resistor that is capable of extremely high resistance values without significant cost increase. This makes the HMC Series a popular choice for gas detection, dividers, wireless equipment, test and measurement equipment, medical devices, instrumentation, and network analyzers. The HMC Series is available in sizes from 0402 up to 2512, in resistance values from 10.2M up to 10G, and with tolerances as low as 1%. Pricing varies with size, resistance value, and tolerance, but ranges from $0.05 to $0.10 for the most common values and sizes in full reel quantities. Contact Stackpole or one of our franchised distributors for volume pricing. Current lead-times are eight weeks, with many popular values and sizes available from stock. Stackpole
