EGSTON custom-wound power components now available from Diamond Power

Diamond Power Components, a newly-formed specialist distributor of power components, announces the availability of custom wound power components from EGSTON System Electronics Eggenburg GmbH. Based in Austria EGSTON is high quality manufacturer of a wide range of inductive component parts with manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic, China and India.

Diamond Power Components will work with customers and EGSTON development engineers to design and optimise the required inductive component using the latest high-performance software tools. Fast delivery of pre-production samples to prove new designs ensures a smooth transition to cost effective full production quantities.

Flexible manufacturing facilities ensure the most appropriate assembly methods are used for each product ranging from manual through to fully-automated manufacture with wire diameters from 0.023mm. EGSTROM are major manufacturers of full custom products and very large quantities can be manufactured using optimum automated solutions developed by EGSTON in their own facilities. Customer specific packaging, covers and enclosures can be undertaken, bespoke mechanical fixings, vacuum impregnation, vacuum casting, over moulding and cable harnesses

All products manufactured are fully mechanically and electrically tested to customer specifications with random or 100% sampling depending on the application. EGSTON is certified to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001 ISO/TS 16949 to insure continual improvement, defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

Typical wound power product designs undertaken by EGSTON includes custom 50Hz toroidal transformers, power transformers for switch mode power supplies (SMPS), chokes, current sensor transformers for measuring and mA to kA, current transformers based on the Rogowski principle and small signal transformers

Diamond Power Components provides full logistic services for the supply of EGSTON products from development and production to complete systems including winding, electronic sub-assemblies, housings and cable technology
