Electric Drives Production Conference and Exhibition has best forecast ever

    05/15/2014

With five months still to go until the 2014 E|DPC exhibition, the number of exhibitors is already up 42 percent on the same time last year. Approximately one third are international exhibitors. The allocation of booths is already underway. Many of the 2013 exhibitors have already registered but there is still a good selection of attractive booths for new exhibitors to choose from.

    Conference offers new topics
The topics to be addressed at this year’s English language lectures at the IEEE conference include Winding Technology, Manufacturing of Electric Drives, Magnetic Sheet and Optimization. Energy Transfer for Electric Vehicles Conference (E|TEV), Energy Storage Production Conference (E|SPC) and the VDMA-Forum on Electromobility, E-MOTIVE, will also feature at the Conference.

The Green Factory Bavaria is being incorporated into the Conference for the first time this year. This is a collaborative project sponsored by the State of Bavaria. The core aim of which is the transfer of knowledge from applied research to industry, in order to increase the energy and resource efficiency of companies. To this end, so-called “Green Factories” are being built as demonstration, teaching and research platforms, with technical solutions as well as methodologies demonstrated in order to reduce the energy demand in production.
