ept's latest board-to-board SMT connector for COM express applications is rugged and flexible
ept has launched a board-to-board surface mount connector system called Colibri, a rugged and flexibile double-row connector system consisting of a plug and receptacle. The two components have a pitch dimension of 0.5 millimeters and are produced for SMT process technology. Colibri connectors are standard with both 220 and 440 pin configurations. The pin count can be individually configured as required.
ept gives its customers additional flexibility by offering Colibri products that are compatible with all common connectors available on the market. Colibri connectors from ept meet all requirements of the PICMG COM Express®, SFF-SIG Core Express® and nanoETXexpress standards. The Colibri model with an overall height of eight millimeters is the first in the range with further versions in various heights and pin numbers to follow in due course.
