Energy Solutions Forum is now EnerKnol. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new brand and platform.
As you know, EnerKnol has always been the name of our data product. So why the company name change? Two reasons. First, the change reflects our evolution from a specialized research shop to a technology and data company. Second, the name reflects the simplicity and scope of our mission to provide the best energy information available to the market.
We started as a team of seasoned energy analysts, publishing investment research and providing regulatory insight to investors and decision-makers. In doing so, we quickly discovered a much greater challenge facing market participants, which, as Wall Street-trained policy analysts, we were uniquely positioned to solve by using cloud-based technology and open government data. This led to the creation of EnerKnol, the first such platform to empower market participants with one-stop access to regulatory filings, in real-time. And while expert analysis still drives the value of our platform, we view our data solution as our identity, and as the purpose of our company.
EnerKnol—Energy Knowledge—is a name that captures how simple, yet how fundamental our solution is. As Sir Francis Bacon famously declared, “Knowledge itself is power”. And that’s the driving ethos behind EnerKnol—that knowledge of power is necessary for driving investment and innovation in the energy industry.
Our new website is streamlined for easy navigation, organized by specific sectors within the energy industry for quick access to the information most pertinent to our customers. With our new name, logo, and website, we have enhanced our ability to provide our clients with the knowledge necessary to drive investment and innovation, and fulfill our mission to transform the energy industry for the better.
We will be debuting our new product and brand at EnerKnol’s annual event series, New York Energy Week 2014, which kicks off next week on June 16th.
