    Hudson MA – Protek Power North America is pleased to announce its new PMP250 Series of 220-250 Watt, medical ac/dc switching external power supplies.   

    The PMP250 Series delivers between 220 and 250 watts of continuous output power with a choice of Class I or Class II AC inlets, allowing compatibility for world-wide use.   Compact and light, the dimensions are 8” x 3.45” x 1.6” with a weight of 2.4 lbs. The standard output connection is a Molex mini-fit receptacle.   

    The PMP250 accepts a wide input voltage range of 80-264VAC (low 85VAC line voltage required for EN60601-111 compliance) and offers a choice of twelve single output models with voltages ranging from 12VDC-54VDC.   All models feature BF class insulation, 1500VAC from output to earth ground, 4000VAC from input to output (2x MOPP), 1500VAC from input to ground.   

    Additional features include:  PFC circuit design, 100µA touch current, no load power consumption less than 0.15W, overvoltage and overcurrent protection, EN55011 Class B conducted and radiated emissions, 5,000 meter altitude for use in mountainous regions while maintaining safety, and 100% burn-in at full rated load.

    All models meet:  DoE efficiency standards for Level VI, EU CoC EPS V5 Tier 2 requirements, worldwide safety standards (UL ES60601-1, CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1, TUV EN60601-1), and are compliant with RoHS requirements.
