    Frank L. Wright’s Taliesin gets a 21st-century upgrade

    02/25/2014

Frank Lloyd Wright’s imaginative Taliesin Spring will receive an innovative update from award winning green lighting designer and founder of Studio Lux, Christopher Thompson who will introduce energy-efficient technology to the historic site.

“It is an honor to be involved in any Frank Lloyd Wright project,” said Thompson. “Our work at Taliesin West in Scottsdale AZ, while challenging, is likely our most significant highlight as a lighting design firm. To be moving to our second project with the FLWF is very exciting.”

This marks Studio Lux’s continued working relationship with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation who first sought out Thompson’s firm to create a Net-Zero energy zone for Taliesin West, the main campus of The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture in Scottsdale, Arizona.
