Fully Modular Receptacle System from Amphenol FCI enabling a wide variety of connections

Now available in Europe through TTI, Inc., are Minitek 2.0mm receptacles from Amphenol FCI. Minitek 2.0mm receptacles are a fully modular system enabling all types of connections between PCBs, wires and flat cables. The 2mm spacing allows up to 38% space saving compared to traditional modular systems. The components are available in single or double row format with 2 up to 25 positions per row and in vertical and horizontal configurations. Low profile versions with only 2.3mm height are also available. The devices have been designed for automotive, medical, and industrial/instrumentation applications such as server drive and programmable logic controller (PLC).

Minitek 2mm receptacles benefit from an eject latch and active latch feature. A dual beam contact design ensures highly reliable connections. Suitable for reflow soldering processes, the products feature a double solder tail on each pitch facilitating automatic placement with no orientation constraint.
