Harwin, the leading hi-rel connector and SMT board hardware manufacturer, has again been named by TTI, Inc. the specialist broadline distributor of Passive, Interconnect, Relay & Switch and Discrete components as amongst the latter's top performing European suppliers in 2011, once again earning a TTI Supplier Excellence Award. TTI's Supplier Excellence Awards have come to be regarded as the most prestigious performance indicators of their type in industry as they are based on a set of strictly-measured quality criteria including on-time delivery, customer acceptance, business systems, EDI and management and field support. Harwin scored an impressive 101 points out of a possible 125, ranking the company comfortably in TTI's top ten suppliers. Comments Geoff Breed, VP Marketing Europe, TTI Inc.: "This award is based on stringent criteria and reflects the enormous contribution Harwin has made to the service that TTI is able to offer to our customers - for which we thank them deeply. We would like to congratulate the Harwin teams for their continued enthusiasm and commitment to our program and the business partnership we enjoy across Europe. Many, many thanks." Added Andrew McQuilken, Managing Director, Harwin: "We are keen to ensure that the quality of our hi-rel components is matched with an equal commitment to quality of service in the distribution channel and have worked hard alongside TTI to ensure this happens. We thank them for this Award and look forward to delivering even better service during the coming year.." www.harwin.co.uk
