Heilind appoints Greg Faughnan as VP of sales for Europe

    02/20/2017

Heilind, a leading electronics distributor, announced it has appointed Greg Faughnan as Vice President of Sales for Europe. In this new role, Faughnan is responsible for driving the company’s continued growth in Europe. He brings to Heilind a rich, specialist interconnect and electromechanical experience from over 30 years in the industry with leading companies such as Molex and TE where he held various director level positions.

“Greg’s strong track record in leading sustainable sales growth initiatives will be invaluable for building on our existing success in Europe,” said Martin Kent, President of Asian and European Operations at Heilind. “His deep understanding of the ever-changing landscape of customer applications, coupled with his vision for servicing the evolving requirements of our customers at a European level, will enable us to offer even greater business value and secure our position as the leading specialist interconnect and electromechanical component distributor.”

“Heilind is a rapidly expanding organisation that I see as leading the way in specialist distribution, through the focused breadth and depth of its inventory, no MOQ limitations and immediate in-stock availability,“ commented Faughnan. “I’ve seen its unwavering commitment to customers underscored by a significant investment in IT and the very best people, and I’m excited to be involved at such a pivotal time in the company’s progression.”

The appointment comes on the heels of the company’s re-branding last year following acquisition and the rapid addition of new products as well as value-added services.
