High Power Density DC/DC Converter Modules From Powersolve Provide Over 200W

    08/07/2011

Powersolve announces the TEP 200WI Series of high performance, high power DC/DC converter modules that provide up to 216W output power from a sealed, shielded metal case measuring just 2.4 x 1.9 x 0.5in (61 x 48.2 x 12.7mm). They are designed as standard for chassis mount and an optional screw terminal adaptor is also available to make connection simple. DIN -rail mounting is also an option. Manufactured by Tracopower, the converters come as standard with an aluminium baseplate which, when combined with a 91% efficiency level, allows for operation up to 75°C with convection cooling. Input voltages can range from 9 to 75VDC and, with output voltages from 3.3 to 48VDC, the new modules are particularly suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Key features also include soft start, output voltage trimming and reverse input protection. About Powersolve Powersolve Electronics Ltd was established in 1987 as both a distributor of power products for many of the industry's leading power supply companies and as a manufacturer in its own right of standard and custom power solutions.
