High Reliability Input Conditioner Eases Design of Mil/Aero Distributed Power Systems

The FLHG-60 multi-function bus conditioner module is a 60W input front-end that enables and speeds the construction of high reliability power architectures for military and avionic 24V and 28V applications. The FLHG-60 features include:

    • Ultra wide input range of 12 - 100VDC
    • An input EMI filter that complies with MIL-STD-461 or DO160 Standards
    • An input spike & surge limiter to comply with MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, ABD100 and DO160 over-voltages
    • Reverse polarity protection
    • Soft start functionality
    • Hold-up function
    • Inrush current limiting
    • Shielded metal case construction

By combining many essential functions, the FLGH-60 replaces individual input stage components such as filters, voltage limiter, reverse polarity protection, inrush current limiter and hold-up modules within a single integrated package measuring 1.58"L x 1.03"W x 0.32"H. As a single component, the FLHG-60 allows for a drastic reduction in space as well as simplifying the overall power architecture design.
