    Hirose appoints Tats Arai GM of international sales & operations

    Hirose Electric, a leader in the development of innovative connector solutions, has announced a series of management changes within the company designed to provide the foundation necessary to fuel future growth and success. Tats Arai has been named the new general manager of International Sales and Operation Business Unit (ISOBU). Mr. Arai is responsible for all international sales and operations outside of manufacturing. Mr. Arai will be transferred back to Japan shortly and will be based on Hirose's corporate sales and engineering offie in Yokohama, Japan. Yasushi Nakamura, formerly the senior vice president of Hirose USA, has been appointed to succeed Mr. Arai as president and COO with the full responsibility for the Hirose USA business. Mr. Nakamura joined Hirose Electric Co., Ltd in 1985 and has been working at Hirose USA since 1991. He has BA from Kwansei Gakuin University, and MBA from University of Texas, at Austin.
