HITEC Power Protection (HITEC), the inventor of diesel rotary UPS, announced the appointment of Garrett Forde as the company’s new CEO. Forde is a well-respected leader with in-depth commercial and business development experience working with international technology companies in the Americas, Asia and EMEA.

Bringing a solid track record in creating unique business strategies and driving performance improvement, Forde enhances HITEC’s strong market presence with proven skills such as product / business development in industrial products and scientific instrumentation, as well as organization change management in complex go-to-markets models. Prior to joining HITEC, Forde held leadership roles for a combined 15 years, within Intelligent Energy, Axisto and Philips. With an MBA and a degree in Physics, Forde is also skilled at balancing technology and commercial aspects of a business while having a keen sense and appreciation for employees and cultural diversity.
