IBC SOLAR AG, a leader in photovoltaic systems, will present a preview of the expansion of its storage portfolio at Intersolar Europe. The DC-coupled IBC SolStore Li relies on quality components from German manufacturers. The core element of the system is an inverter from the German manufacturer Steca Elektronik as well as a new voltage transformer. The electronic engineering of the voltage transformer is currently in development for use in IBC SolStore battery storage systems.
As a management system, it controls the loading and unloading of the storage system. The compact DC storage system employs the successful coolcept³ inverter series which is known for its high efficiency of over 98 per cent. As for end users, a compact storage system is being developed which is completely dedicated to optimising self-consumption of solar power and also scores high marks with a price saving of up to 15 per cent for the entire system. Longevity and investment security is also guaranteed with a warranty of 7 years on the inverter and the battery. The system is therefore also eligible for the German KfW storage funding programme.
The storage system is especially suited to private households, but can also be used by small commercial businesses and perfectly complements IBC SOLAR’s storage portfolio. The German manufactured storage system will offer maximum freedom when it comes to solar power self-sufficiency.
In addition to the new DC solution, IBC SOLAR is presenting its entire storage portfolio at Intersolar. This portfolio offers the best possible system solution combination for all applications. All storage solutions have an intelligent management system and independently control the alignment between energy production, energy requirements, independent consumption and feed-in. IBC SOLAR also supports its Premium Partners in Germany with customised services, such as on-site support for the initial installation of storage systems.
