Power management company Eaton announced its latest innovation in industrial and hazardous-area lighting, Crouse-Hinds series Champ CPMV and WPMV LEDs. The wallpacks are designed for vertical surface lighting applications in industrial environments and Class I, Division 2 areas, providing high-performance, maintenance-free illumination for 60,000+ hours of operation at 40°C to +55°C and up to 116 lumens per watt.

Compared to 150 watt HID lighting solutions, the Champ CPMV and WPMV LEDwallpacks candelivera 70 percent gain in energy efficiency, 65 percent decrease in total cost of ownership and a 100 percent reduction in maintenance requirements over the life of the fixture.

Available in configurations from 3,000 to 7,000 lumens, the Eaton CPMV and WPMV LEDs can meet the unique illumination requirements of new construction and retrofit projects. For reliable performance in harsh and hazardous operating conditions, the fixtures are NEMA Type 4X rated with an impact-resistant lens sealed from the outside environment to provide ingress protection against water and dust. Additionally, the wallpacks are engineered with a die cast aluminum LED housing to provide an efficient thermal path for heat dissipation

Champ CPMV LED wallpacks are certified for use in Class I, Division 2 and Class II, Division 2 hazardous areas and meet UL Marine requirements.  Champ WPMV LED wallpacks are designed for ordinary location, industrial areas.
